Captain Thomas Bowman, Jr. retires

Captain Thomas Bowman began his Law Enforcement career in 1992 with the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office. On November 22, 2004, he was hired by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff. Captain Bowman earned several promotions throughout his career obtaining the rank of Captain in January 2018.

During his career, Captain Bowman earned the FCSO 15 Years’ Service Commendation Bar and several Letters of Commendation.

Throughout the course of his career, Captain Bowman served in various capacities within the Enforcement Services Bureau including Field Training Officer, NC Specialized Driving Instructor, Vice/Narcotics Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, and School Resource Officer Program. At the time of his retirement, he was the Captain in Administrative Services Division.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Captain Thomas Bowman all the best in his future endeavors.
