Two art exhibits at the Central Library on display until Dec. 31, 2021

Take some time to stop by the Central Library to enjoy the exhibits by artists Jeanette Yarbrough and Willie F. Welch.

Local artist Jeanette Yarbrough works from her home studio, and her style is impressionistic. She mainly works in oils, but also uses watercolor and pastels. She is a juried member of Associated Artists of Winston-Salem, and she has exhibited widely in the area. Her work includes portraits, landscapes, still life and abstracts.

Willie F. Welch was raised in a rural farming area in Missouri, and his artwork combines his early closeness to the land with his recent years working as a technical illustrator, commercial artist and designer. His work in this show is done in acrylic, pastel and pencil, and it includes portraits, landscapes, wildlife and still life.

These two exhibits are on display on the second floor of the Central Library until Dec. 31, 2021.
