National Black Theatre Festival Film Series comes to the Central Library
The National Black Theatre Festival returns to Winston-Salem beginning on August 1.
On Tuesday August 2, we will proudly feature selections for the Festival's film series at 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. in the auditorium at the Sylvia Y. Sprinkle-Hamlin Central Library.
Screenings will continue daily through Saturday August 6. We will feature different short and feature-length films each day, along with Q&A with some of the filmmakers.

- Tuesday, August 2, 10 a.m.: Ballet After Dark by B. Monet, I Remember Yesterday by Imani Mitchell, Neighbor by William Andre Buchanan
- Tuesday August 2, 11:15 a.m.: Film Montage: Diabolical and Bus Stop by Peachanda DuBose, I'll Show You I'm Great and Trust Life by Jason Fleurant, Jabari Dreams of Freedom by Nambi E. Kelley
- Wednesday, August 3, 10 a.m.: Generations by Tomeka Denise Allen, Home Soon by Maisha Azadi, Bigger Matters by Brian Harris and J. Robinson
