Gateway to Fall Concert with the Fun Fatale Trio

Come hear the sounds of the Fun Fatale Trio on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Lewisville Branch. This is an acoustic band of vocal harmonies, guitar, fiddle and upright bass. According to the Trio, the group's music defies genre and entertains audiences with its own interpretations of new and old songs with roots in a variety of traditions. Whether it’s a sweet tune from the ‘40s, a fresh take on a bluegrass standard, a contemporary folk song, or a rousing Celtic instrumental, the music reflects choices intended to put a smile on faces.

The Fun Fatale Trio has recently moved to Winston-Salem from Brunswick County where it played widely. Already making a name for itself in the area by winning “Best of Show” in the Piedmont Plus Silver Games/Senior Arts competition last April, the group is eager to share its sound in the community. You can access the Fun Fatale Trio's website here or find the group on Facebook: Fun Fatale Trio. Registration is optional. Registration is not required but helpful if you would like a reminder email. To register, email Sue at deguzmse@forsyth.cc or call the Lewisville Branch at 336-703-2940.
