NC Cooperative Extension Master Food Volunteer Program - Information Session

Would you like to connect with others in the community to promote healthy eating and food awareness? Come learn about the NC Cooperative Extension’s Master Food Volunteer Program where you can train to become certified to teach about nutrition, present cooking demonstrations, serve at education booths, teach food preservations classes, and make a difference in the community.

This is a one-hour information session at the Lewisville Branch on either Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. or Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 5:30 p.m. At the session you will find out what the training involves, how to apply for the program, and what is required as a participant. We will gather at the Lewisville Branch for a virtual presentation given by the Cooperative Extension, or you can watch the Zoom presentation from home. *To watch from home, register here. To attend at the Lewisville Branch, registration is only required if you wish to receive an email reminder; you may register by emailing Sue at deguzmse@forsyth.cc or calling the library at 336-703-2940.
