Movie Matinee: "The Public"

In honor of National Library Week, we will be showing the film, "The Public" on Wednesday, April 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lewisville Branch. A librarian helps a group of homeless people take refuge from a brutal winter night by staging a sit-in at the free public library. A misunderstanding causes his noble act to wrongly escalate into a hostage situation with a political candidate and a TV reporter stoking the drama for their own agendas. Produced by Universal Pictures and stars Alec Baldwin, Emilio Estevez, Michael K. Wright and Gabrielle Union. (PG-13)
