Summer Reading For Youth at the Lewisville Branch

Summer Reading is back and we have a fun and education line-up of programs for youth to attend. Go on multiple "trips" from the comfort of your community library as we host a number of local favorite attractions. Pick up a "Passport to Your Community" brochure which includes lists of other programs and events happening this summer at all of our library locations. And don't forget to pick up some Summer Reading logs!

Toddler Storytime:
Mondays at 10 a.m. (Program canceled on Monday, July 24 and July 31)

Preschool Storytime:
Tuesdays at 10 a.m. (Program canceled on Tuesday, July 25)

East Indian Dance Group - Come enjoy the performance of dance!

Mad Science - Learn how the science behind engineering, technology and conservation in a fun, exciting way.

Button-making for Teens - Teens can drop-in to create their won buttons. Limit 2 per person.
Starting Monday, June 12 from 3 -5 p.m. (Program canceled on Monday, July 24 and July 31)

Dungeons & Dragons Meet-up Group - A casual meetup for D&D players and those who wish to learn. Presented by master gamer Angelo Villamarin. Meets twice a month.
Mondays from 3-5 p.m. (dates vary month to month)

Getting Ready for College - What to do between grades 9 to 12 to prepare for college. Presented by CFNC. Registration suggested. To register, email Emily Emerson (emersoem@forsyth.cc).

Intro to Improv for Teens - Improv is fun, creative and hilarious. Come learn the basics for this theatrical technique actors use to help them become more adaptable on stage. Presented by The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem. Ages 12-18.

Papermaking for Teens - By looking at examples from the museum's collections, teens will learn the ancient art of papermaking around the world. As part of the program, teens will make their own paper. Presented by Wake Forest University's Lam Museum of Anthropology. Ages 12-18.

Theater Games for Teens - Use your imaginations and creativity. Theater games warm actors up, help them explore different people and places. Presented by the The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem. Ages 12-18.
Friday, July 21 at 1 p.m.
