Children's African American Read-In at Malloy/Jordan rescheduled

Due to the chance of snow this week, the Children's African American Read-In originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center has been postponed to Thursday, Feb. 27.

The National African American Read-In was established in 1990 by the Black Caucus of the National County of Teachers of English to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month. In 35 years, more than 6 million people have participated in the Read-In around the world. .
