Follow the footsteps of Daniel Boone

Learn about Daniel Boone (1734-1820), America's pioneer hero, from local award-winning author Randell Jones at The Lewisville Historical Society Presents... Between Two Sons: Daniel Boone during the American Revolution on Monday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center.

Jones has written extensively on Boone, the pioneer era, and the American Revolution. He will draw from his 2024 book In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone during his presentation.

"Boone's life is filled with adventure, joy, trouble, and tragedy," said Jones. "He is an honored son of North Carolina whose remarkable life of 86 years spans across wilderness [that] became 11 states."
