Black Men Speak: Mental Health Conversation

Join us for an engaging panel discussion on Oct. 29 from 1-3 p.m. at the Forsyth County Central Library Auditorium, 660 W. 5th St, in Winston-Salem. Together, we will discuss overcoming challenges, generational trauma, empowering the next generation of black men in the mental health field, building trust and connection within our communities, creating safe and supportive spaces for men to share and heal, and more.

The panelists will include:

  • Cpt. Dwayne Little - Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office
  • Tim Simmons - Partners Health Management
  • Dr. Brandon Lowe - Knew Era Consulting PLLC
  • Clark Moore - police officer/martial artist
  • Kareen Gary - advocate with lived experience
  • Dr. Jack S. Monell - professor of Justice Studies at Winston-Salem State University
