National Crime Victims' Rights Week is April 19-25
National Crime Victims' Rights Week is observed April 19-25, 2026. This week brings together individuals, agencies, and institutions to recognize the impact of crime, honor survivors, and renew our commitment to victims' rights and services.
According to the National Center for Victims of Crime, over 12,000 victim services programs across the country help survivors rebuild their lives and support public safety, backed by more than 32,000 laws that define and protect victims' rights.
Crime affects victims physically, financially, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. No one should have to face the aftermath and effects of crime or trauma alone.
If you, or someone you care for may have been a victim of interpersonal violence including domestic violence, sexual assault, child maltreatment, stalking, elder abuse, or human trafficking, contact Bridges to Hope Family Justice Center of Forsyth County at (336) 776-3255 for assistance, support, services, and resources.
Bridges to Hope is located at 725 N. Highland Avenue, Annex 1, Winston-Salem, NC, 27101. Service hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
