HVAC installation at Paddison Memorial Branch began Monday, Sept. 21
Work began on Monday, Sept. 21 to replace Paddison Memorial Branch Library's HVAC system.
On-site library programs and private room reservations have been temporarily paused while construction takes place. The branch's children's department will also be closed.
Patrons can continue picking up holds and using the rest of the branch's offerings, including study tables and public computers.
Paddison's Genealogy Club meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 10–11 a.m. has been moved to the Forsyth Reading Room on the third floor of Forsyth County Central Library.
The branch's regularly scheduled off-site programs will continue as scheduled:
- Books & Brews Book Club at Gypsy Road Brewing on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 4 p.m.
- Storytime at the Park at Fourth of July Park on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m.
- Storytime in the Garden at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m.
While programming is paused, library visitors are encouraged to check out the events at all Forsyth County Public Library branches on our online calendar.
Early voting at Paddison (and six other library branches) will begin as scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 15.
