    Ages 1-3. Toddlers will build language skills and discover new words through stories, interactive play, music, and rhymes.

    Up to 18 months. Children will engage in songs, rhymes, movement activities, and stories while building gross- and fine-motor skills, coordination, and phonological awareness.

    Ages 5-13. Children will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts while making ice cream in a bag in June and blender creations in July. Program presented by the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center.

    Grades 1-12. Your children are invited to play Xbox games, computer games and virtual reality games with our headset.

    The North Carolina Zoo has been part of the Old North State since 1967. This summer, the Zoo is hitting the road and bringing a worldwide adventure to multiple Library branches! Come explore three continents, meet some awesome animal ambassadors, learn about famous pioneers and scientists, and dive into some adventurous jobs!
