Deputy Honored as Officer of the Year

It is with great pleasure to announce Deputy Tracy Steen was honored as Officer of the Year by the Exchange Club of Winston-Salem on May 19th.

Deputy Tracy Steen has been employed with the FCSO since 2006 and is currently assigned to Mount Tabor High School as a School Resource Officer.

Deputy Steen is an outstanding SRO and has proven himself to be a dedicated and reliable LE officer. In November 2008, Deputy Steen observed suspicious persons walking inside of a school. As a result of his keen observation and quick response, he recovered a stolen vehicle and made two arrests. Deputy Steen has also recovered stolen video projectors and made arrests of the violators.

Deputy Steen coordinated a drunk driving awareness video in conjunction with other LE agencies for the WSFCS student body to educate them about the effects and ramifications of drunk driving.
