Get ready for fall Friends of the Library book sales

Several Friends of the Library fall book sales get under way this month, each offering great bargains on gently used books and other materials. While not every location will hold a fall sale, each location offers an on-going book sale with the same great value on a wide assortment of books. Contact your local Branch for more information.

Here is a list of scheduled Friends of the Library book sales for the fall.

Friends of the Clemmons Branch Library

• Thursday, Oct. 17th, preview evening. 7 pm to 9 pm for Friends members.
  Non-members can join at the door.
• Friday, Oct. 18th, 10 am to 6 pm.
• Saturday, Oct. 19th, 10 am to 5 pm.
• Saturday Specials: After 1 pm, 50% off all items. After 3 pm, all-you-can-carry for $10.

Friends of the Lewisville Branch Library

• Thursday, Oct. 17th, 6 pm to 8 pm members preview night. Non-members can join at the door.
• Friday, Oct. 18th, 10 am to 6 pm.
• Saturday, Oct. 19th, 10 am to 3 pm. Friends members can fill a bag for just $3.

Friends of the Southside Branch Library

• Friday, Oct. 18th, 10 am to 6 pm.
• Saturday, Oct, 19th, 10 am to 5 pm.
• Monday, Oct. 21st, 10 am to 9 pm.
• Large selection of children's picture books.

Friends of the Rural Hall Library

• Thursday, Nov. 7th, 5pm to 7 pm, Friends preview sale. Non-members
  can join at the door.
• Friday, Nov. 8th, 11 am to 7 pm.
• Saturday, Nov. 9th, 10 am to 2 pm

Friends of the Central Library

• Saturday, Nov. 9th, 9 am to 5 pm.
• Sunday, Nov. 10th, 1 pm to 5 pm.
• Donations of gently used books, audio-books, DVD's, CD's, etc. accepted year-round.

Friends of the Walkertown Library

• Wednesday, Nov. 13th, 2 pm to 6 pm, Friends preview sale. Non-members
  can join at the door for $5, be admitted to the preview sale and receive a free library bag.
• Thursday, Nov. 14th, 10 am to 6 pm.
• Friday, Nov. 15th, 10 am to 6 pm
• Saturday, Nov. 16th, 10 am to 2 pm ($5 bag day)
