Teen Cosplay Contest at Rural Hall

Teens (6th-12th grade) are invited to participate in the 4th Annual Teen Cosplay Contest on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 4 pm in Rural Hall Branch Library Reading Room. Cosplay is the act of dressing up as a character from a book, movie, or TV show. Teens are welcome to dress as their favorite Anime character, Manga character, or Graphic Novel superhero.

The following rules are the only limitations on the costumes teens can wear:
-No nudity or revealing clothing.
-No special effects (i.e. no fire, ice, or chemical additions).
-No real weapons. Foam or cardboard weapons are allowed.
-Library Staff reserve the right to deny any prop or costume deemed dangerous, or in violation of the rules.

Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume and Most Creative Costume. Call Rural Hall Branch Library for more information at 336-703-2970.
