Yucatan: A Unique American Peninsula

Our North American continent is not boring. Ancient civilizations, beautiful sights, delicious food, and interesting people are in store for you at the Reynolda Manor Branch Library on Wednesday, October 9, 6:30 p.m.

Let’s meet a next door neighbor from the Yucatan region. Guadalupe Riess Stonestreet, of Du Mexique catering, will also present regional foods. Sample Yucatecan food. The unique geography, history, plus the living descendants, remaining relics of the outstanding ancient Mayans will increase your appreciation of our diverse North American continent.

The Nayarit region of Mexico will be featured next on October 21, 6:30 p.m., at our Walkertown Branch Library.
